Week 2- Computer Hardware and Operating Systems

 In week 2 the learning was about the introduction of computers, computing processes, components of the computer, and functions of hardware and software. Charles Babbage the father of the computer opened a new door to the world by inventing computers. It played an enormous role in society, in many fields such as communication, science, and medicine. Today, people cannot imagine life with computers as they play a significant role in the day to day activities.

This week the lessons gave an overview of computing software such as windows, macOS, and Linux and their functions. The introduction of graphical elements into windows made significant changes to computers. The chapter explained the features of various user interfaces such as Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 10, macOS, and Linux. In addition, the video explained motherboards and their components.
